Re-Design of: Design and The Play Instinct By Paul Rand
Target Audience: "Hipsters" (calm or relaxed learners)
For this design I wanted to create a warm and welcoming feel to the book. The colors give off this coffee house vibe, and allows for the audience to not feel overwhelmed when looking through book. I used a square design to more easily guide the readers eyes throughout the pages and to present a more useful look to white space and the images that were inside of the book. Call outs were limited as I didn't want to bring the reader away from the text too often. To have the reader enjoy the experience is what I wanted most of all.
